SCAD x Harbor Week 08

Notes from mentors for shot04 :
The perspective of the coffee cart is skewed.
Some suggestion to do the roto mask include:
Try subtracting with a clean plate.
Move the cart further to reduce
overlapping.
    Using fake hair.

Subtracting Clean Plate
The method of subtracting hair using clean plate doesn't work well. Possible reason of failing might be the camera motion and  noise.

By pushing the CG elements further, the roto work could be lighter.

Roto Mask WIP
Roto by circles then Combine them with the garbage matte to create a more detailed mask.

Mask Node Graph
I tried multiple keyer node to get rid of redundant information. For the top part of the hair, red key works better. The other parts don't have a strong contrast between the wall and hair. Additionally, I did a luminance key to delete the white concrete on the wall that intersect the hair.

For shot 05 I went through a new attempt on using sparse pyro solver. When it comes to importing the pyro back to SOP, DOP_import didn't work. I find that DOP_import_fields works instead.
